What happens when I hit Free’s 100-memo cap?
Your memos stay readable. Past the cap, the cloud stops accepting new memos: ones you create in an app stay on that device without syncing, and cloud captures such as forwarded email are refused, until you upgrade or remove some. We never delete your data automatically.
Do I need to provide my own AI keys?
No, and you can’t add one. Every plan includes a cloud-AI allowance (requests a day, tokens a month) with nothing to set up: AI runs from our server on SecBrain’s own accounts with Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI and Google (Gemini), within your plan’s limits.
What if I cancel?
Your account drops to Free at the end of the billing period. You keep access to your library. Export is always available regardless of plan.
How does annual billing save money?
Annual gives you two months free. The maths: monthly Pro is $144/yr; annual Pro is $120/yr.
Is there a team plan?
No. SecBrain is single-user by design. We don’t sell seats. (See the Manifesto for why.)
Where do I see what I’ve been billed?
Our payment provider emails you a receipt for every charge: Paddle for web purchases, Apple for purchases made in the iOS app. Your current plan and a Manage subscription link are in the app under Account.
